In its third season, Marvel’s Daredevil will see the “Man without Fear” go toe-to-toe with one of his fierces foes: Bullseye. The villain will be portrayed by Wilson Bethel according to ThatHasthtagShow, who was first reported to have joined the cast by Variety in November of last year.
The initial role Bethel was reported to be filling was described in a character breakdown THS acquired last year as “An athletic but socially awkward FBI Agent, needs structure and rules to suppress the darkness inside himself. Athletic with medium build, responsible and resourceful, hair trigger temper.”
This led many to believe that Bethel might have been playing Daredevil and Spider-Man antagonist Sin Eater, especially after Variety confirmed Bethel’s casting with a character description featuring the villain’s fixation with “punishing” those he deemed unworthy.
It seems like the character is in for a change, given the fact that Bullseye is not usually portrayed as a current or former FBI agent, but season 3 might be something of an origin story for Bullseye as a character, even while he plays a villainous role during the course of the season.
